  2. Well, the whole Fate Strange fate story (the original light novel written by Narita) is ten volumes long (currently, at this point, we're close to…the end of volume 2), so nope, it wouldn 't be 13 episodes long, it's the current seasons which would be 13 episodes long…
(as a point of reference, Fake Apocrypha, which was 4 volume long in the light novel format, took 25 episodes for the anime adaptation, so yeah…)

Regarding the future servant… Well… Maybe we know one of them, technically… Maybeeeeee… It's a matter of perspective. ;p

  3. It's Tokiomi's fault for Gilgamesh's attitude in Fate/Zero. He's so boring that Gilgamesh just have to find some entertainment in Kirei haha 😂.

Then after seeing the different attitudes of modern humans compared to his time for 10 years, he decided to do what he did in Fate/Stay Night.

Basically, he was in a bad mood all year round.

Now he's happy and was just having fun 😅.

  4. 21:27 We know this season is covering volumes 1-5 of Strange Fake.
It currently has 9 volumes out and the final and 10th still has yet to release. For reference, Fate/Zero was 4 volumes.

  5. I think that when it comes to Gilgamesh the reason why he's seemingly more likeable is due to two main things:
    1. His master being someone young and interesting. Remembering in F/Z his master was Tokiomi who was utterly boring to Gilgamesh as he just sat around all day at home and never showed any spine. That's why he was interested in Kirei who, like with Tine here, he pushed & prodded to see how she change/grow as a person.
    2. His BFF Enkidu is here which automatically puts him into a good mood.

  6. Gil’s alignment in grand order is chaotic good if that helps you understand him a bit. I think in stay night he was seeking to improve humanity, but in the most extreme of ways.

  7. There's currently 9 volumes in the light novels this is based on, and trailers have shown scenes up to and including volume 5. This season will almost certainly end at the end of vol 5 so there will be more.
Now, volumes 6-9 are a fair bit longer than 1-5 and volume 10 (supposedly final one) has not yet released but is apparently going to be massive, so they might have to end up doing 1-2 (or 1.5) seasons for the rest or even some movies, who knows.

  8. I can't wait for you to watch Fgo and see Caster Gilgamesh. He is much the same way as this Archer Gilgamesh, very chill and approachable.

  9. 17:38 I think the fact that Enkidu also participate is being a huuuggeee psychology boost to Gil itself. He enjoying this war to the fullest. And his master is literally a child also make it kinda different. He always had soft spot for kid in every other series he appear (except fate stay night maybe).

  10. 17:34 Gilgamesh at his base is always the same but he adjusts significantly based on who he is summoned by and who is around him.

As he’s very selfish and so if he’s bored or doesn’t like you he is NOT kind to you at all.

  11. 17:56 this is the effect of the master

gilgamesh hates magus and loves humans

the more human you are the more tame he gets and the more effort he gives

this is what is stated when talked about if gilgamesh could beat artoria alter the creator stated if the master is more magus he loses and even if the master has little mana if his more human he wins

this is why the whole time gilgamesh is making tine act more like a child and get the answers to her own problems by herself only guilding her and on top of that gilgamesh actually loved children on timeline while he insults the children to someone he gives them candy

  12. Gambling priest vs yapping vampire
I've been waiting for this ep for a long time on the FSF Novel teaser🔥
The next episode will be even more exciting, there will be a battle royale fight.

  13. 16:04 Waver gets ptsd in Fate Zero
19:14 Just to let you know, those fake servants are only 6 classes without Saber, true servants will appear after this, Richard is the first true servant saber to appear

  14. The burial agency is not really relevant to Fate but it's a big part of Tsukihime. Them being mentioned here is yet another hint that the world of stay night is an abnormality in the nasuverse, while most worlds are either fate worlds or tsukihime worlds this one is a mix of both.

  15. I love the similarities between how Gilgamesh treats Kirei in Zero and Tine here. Kirei spent his life trying to be "a good person" as he was taught to be by his father and the church but didn't realized how unfulfilled he was until Gilgamesh talked him into being his own person and being true to himself, even if that person was someone that enjoys the pain of others.

It's also funny how the same lesson Gilgamesh gives of "Breaking through blind faith and being true to yourself" is framed so differently when one case is a child that hasn't grown to develop a sense of who they are yet versus a grown psychopathic killer that likes hurting others.

  16. Just watched Fate/Grand Order Babylon and you maybe more more understand Gilgamesh as "GOOD PERSON", yup I not lie he CAN BE GOOD PERSON + GOOD KING

  17. When Gilgamesh mentioned in passing that if Hansa was willing to become a tool of God, he meant it literally as Hansa later revealed that he's essentially a Cyborg Priest as 70% of his own body is replaced with Holy weapons and tools.

Also Hansa's last attack against Jester is a holy hand grenade infused with holy water, but also a reference to Monty Python:The Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch!!!!

  18. 18:10 Enkidu could have a small influence on his current personality — as we see it largely change after his fight with the him. Another factor is that his master is a child — if you watch Fate/Grand Order: Babylonia then his love for humanity really shines through.
