This is just a theory but the reason reze went back to the cafe and the emphasis of the flower before she entered the train was because she actually fully intended to run away that day but when she was focusing on the flower before she went into the train, she realised its the same type of flower denji gave to her. Meaning she realised denji donated to the same orphan charity as she did and she felt a bit more empathetic because how she was an orphan grown in an inhumane soviet military programme. After noticing this I guess the memories of denji flooded into her mind to the point she forgot about the train infront of them and it just took off without her. And theres no way reze didnt actually love denji because I'm fully sure reze just knew how impossible it was to even get near to him after she legit just almost destroyed the whole town and Aki witnessed her in human form (and the whole sthick with makima). Also another trivia (theory?)with some manga spoilers, Makima was always observing reze and denji (or just when they were at the school) because she answered reze question to denji about rather being a country mouse or city mouse despite her not being there.
What's more depressing is reze might have thought that denji set her up and denji might have thought that she just abandoned him and ran away. Fujimoto why,, 🥀 he can't keep getting away 😭😭🥀🥀
damn im 3 years too late. the anime hype is dead. i thought the movie was too dark for my liking so i tried watching the anime and boy it is fire. i only got into the anime after i watch the movie
No, Reze did not die permanently in Chainsaw Man; as a bomb hybrid, she is functionally immortal and can survive severe injuries, including being decapitated, and was later revealed to be alive but controlled by Makima. After Makima's death, Reze's mind returned to normal, though her current whereabouts are unknown.
That is why Pochita reminds Denji of the bitter taste of coffee, because he had completely forgotten about Reze and that is where Denji considers that she was also an important part of his life as well as his first true love, without a doubt Pochita knows that Denji always loved Reze before being manipulated by Makima
She didn't die. High level demon like her pretty much couldn't die and will be revived in Hell. She's just being weakened to then be controlled by Makima.
