BLANK (S4E19) Premature Combustion, Tom Playing Amnesia Clark& Yellow Anger!

It wouldn't make sense for Chloe to ask Clark where he's from because he had amnesia.
Also, Clark was rediscovering his powers by instinct. I think that's different from not ever having had those powers at all.

The episode isn't just about Clark losing his memories; it's fundamentally about exploring Clark's core identity. While learning about Lex is a significant aspect, the focus remains on Clark. Traditionally, Clark is seen as someone who consistently does the right thing because of the values he learned from his parents. However, this episode raises the question: if you lose all your memories and values, do you inherently turn bad? It's often said that a person's true nature shines through even when they've lost their memory. Clark's actions in the episode support this idea. Despite losing his memories, he instinctively helps someone who admits to wiping his memory. This demonstrates that, at his core, Clark is inherently good.

Regarding the activation of his x-ray vision, many superhero shows depict powers being triggered by sheer willpower. New heroes who often don't know how to activate their abilities, sometimes using phrases like "go power grow" or "powers activate" as seen with Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man when he was trying to consciously activate his webs lol. In this episode, when Chloe suggested Clark try to find something, his powers activated subconsciously, reflecting how deeply ingrained his abilities and instincts are, even without his conscious control.

Wow! Of all the Talkville episodes, this one really amazes me, and not in a good way. The father accidentally shot his son. Then he changed the other son's memory to make him believe that he did it.

Brooo. The father shot him accidentally. It's frustrating how often you miss such basic plot points and I have to come to the comments and waste energy to defend the show, rather than celebrating it

Forever (ep.21) is gonna be an episode Michael doesn’t like if he didn’t like this one 🙈🙈

This is one of my favourite episodes of Smallville. And the unquestionable chemistry between Clark and Lana cannot be forgotten :))

It would have been cool for Sheriff Adams to have knowledge of Clarks' abilities. That would've been a good plot line. She would have put him on speed dial.

Tom needs to speak more about his scenes! This episode was really Clark centered and focus on his relationships. It's disappointing that you didn't talk about Tom's scenes with Kristin and Allison. The Clana and Clark & Chloe scenes were excellent in 'Blank'. This episode was pivotal for Clana's relationship. Kristin and Tom were amazing in that locker scene and at the end of the ep, the emotions and feelings from Clark & Lana were so palpable and their chemistry was beautiful. Blank also solidified Chloe character as a true friend to Clark, as a person who he can trust fully with his secrets. It showed the growth of Chloe. It's disappointing that you guys glossed over these 2 importants relationships dynamics.

It's time to kick Michael off the podcast and get other cast members on with Tom instead. Michael does not represent Smallville and it feels like he's taken over everything and literally shoved everyone in a corner. He's made it about himself and Tom now… when this should have been a cast podcast. Same goes for the cons, Michael's literally taken over so he makes the cash and gets all the attention from Tom. Meanwhile Tom lets Michael run him over like this when Tom has more chemistry with the other cast members instead of Michael. Tom and Michael's whole shtick is boring and Michael is just looking for attention, it's not for the love of the show. The ladies of Smallville are more interesting and fun than Michael will ever but he sidelines them all… and for some weird reason Tom won't engage with anyone but Michael. It's too bad that this podcast is what represents Smallville, it's kind of sad.

After listening to this I saw an Orange McLaren at my gym. My immediate thought was Rosenbaum’s disgust at any expansive cars that are yellow or orange. 😂😂
