We CAN’T believe this is CHINA! 🇨🇳… Our first day in SHANGHAI

Our first time in Shanghai, China! So many people warned us not to visit China due to one reason or another. We decided to go and see for ourselves and we couldn’t believe our eyes!
We were anxious and nervous to arrive to Shanghai, China on a 144-HR visa free transit because we heard that if we have stamps from certain countries, we may get rejected and denied entry. Despite traveling to so many countries prior we decided to go and try anyway to celebrate Jenn’s birthday in one of our BUCKET LIST destinations.and we are SO GLAD we did!

  1. You don't have to tip in China, Lanzhou noodle is a Muslim noodle restaurant owned by people from Qinghai province, and Wusu beer is a strong beer, it is a brand from Xinjiang, not a local Shanghai beer

  2. Your current location should be in a district around Shanghai. If you have enough time, you can visit some ancient towns, such as Xitang, the place where Tom Cruise ran on the rooftops in Mission Impossible III. There are many such ancient towns around Shanghai. .

  4. lol,why most of foreigners, especially westerners were so so excited first time stepping in China?what did the western media told you?im really curious. are they telling u people that a north Korea like country are destroying the world?🤣 maybe for the “America-led international order”,yes. oh, wait, is that the reason?

  7. It's a shame how western propaganda makes China look so bad, it's people like you that help shed light on the real China and how clean and safe it is. People's living standards are much higher than anywhere you see in USA.

  8. Happy Birthday Jenn! FYI, there's no tipping culture in China. That makes daily life more affordable. Have a great time in China.

  9. you guys were just in a suburb so won't be too different from any suburb around the world. as you can probably tell, not many if any foreigners would hang around there so the locals were curious what you guys were doing lol. also no tipping in china.

  10. Lanzhou beef noodles are the most famous noodle food in China, because they originated in northwest China, people in the north like to eat noodles with garlic, but people in the south don't have that habit.😊

  11. Many westerners can't believe many things about China until they are physically in China to see the real China.
Because back in their own home country, they watch and read only propaganda, fake and negative news about China reported to them.
Most of the press and media companies are controlled by the government and no positive news about China is allowed to report to their viewers.
