Nicole Kidman is speaking publicly about her split from Keith Urban for the first time.

During a recent interview with Variety while promoting the upcoming sequel to Practical Magic, the Oscar-winning actress briefly addressed the topic.

Kidman explained that she prefers to keep certain parts of her personal life private, saying she tries to focus on moving forward and concentrating on what’s good. She also emphasized that she doesn’t discuss many details out of respect.

The couple originally met in 2005 and married the following year, becoming one of Hollywood’s most admired celebrity pairs for nearly two decades. In September 2025, Kidman filed for divorce, marking the end of their long relationship.
