Real Madrid advances to Champions League Final [FULL REACTION] | ESPN FC

ESPN FC’s Dan Thomas, Ale Moreno, Craig Burley, Steve Nicol and Jurgen Klinsmann react to Real Madrid’s 2-1 win over Bayern Munich in the 2nd leg of the UEFA Champions League semifinals. By winning 4-3 on aggregate, Carlo Ancelotti’s side now advances to the UCL Final against Borussia Dortmund on June 1 at Wembley Stadium.

    Can't stand Madrid, they are turning the champions league into a farmer's league, like what City is doing to the EPL….. somebody needs to stop them!

    Kane wasn't good enough over the two legs. Same as in the quarter-finals. He had a lot of quiet games as of late. You expect the best center forward in the world to score on the biggest stage in biggest games. He did not. At least not from open play. Not good enough to beat Real when your number nine isn't at a 100% and asks to be subbed off halfway through the second half because of back pains.

    totally agree with Steve. if you go with VAR, go with it all the way. Skip the stupid restrictions. You want to avoid human errors with VAR right!!!???

    i just got deja vu. After watching these things for years, it's the same. count out Madrid, and then give sub par commentary. Like min 8:00 to like 9:30 I feel like I've seen that haha

    People saying taking Kane was the mistake. The real Mistake was taking Musiala out. He was carrying the ball through the middle and that right side. He kept Carvajal from going forward freely. As soon as he comes out Madrid is no longer worried about giving up the ball in the mid. Kane would have been controlled by nacho and rudiGer.

    I don't have problem at all with Madrid win. But what was that with Vini playing with Kimmich on touchline? Kimmich gave him the ball to make throw and he just joke and throw the ball on the ground like a baby and ref did nothing about it. If someone did that to Vini he will continue to cry like a baby in media and calling it racist act and fans will be dancing to his music. Thank God Vini is not a white otherwise he would have been the worst racist of all time.

    It’s simply preposterous, they during the whole speech, never changed the aggregate result. It was 4-3, it wasn’t 3-2!

    The people saying that Madrid won through robbery are just mad the whistle have already gone the play stopped and delight decided to shoot it in a net with no one attacking him, This literally happened to Madrid this season in the game vs Valencia when Bellingham scored and never heard the idiots shouting robbery shout then.

    Vini deserves ballon dor , this guy is just fire. As a neutral not a good final to watch, as real madrid will win easily. May be some other team would have made it more entertaining though.

    Real Madrid only need half a sniff to pounce. They're good at punishing errors. They did same to Mcity years back. Goal keeping error Benzema pounced on. Its like they're so locked in & zoned in to get you. The intensity is based on a desire to win.

    Real is not really a machine. It's just easier to win the Champions League than it was 15 years ago. They win the Champions League old school style. Mind game, dirty game (i.e. annoying the opponent, especially the defenders) and making sure that you hurt the players (Salah 2018, or earlier Messi vs Ramos and Pepe…) who can be dangerous with clever fouls (Ramos vs Salah, Pepe and now Rüdiger).
    They are an old school team. You have technically strong players and good passers (Kroos, Modric), tireless spinners and runners (Vini, Rodrygo, Valverde) and behind them defenders who play dirty.

    Many teams used to have that [AC Milan; Nesta, Maldini, Gatuso (technically not as strong as the others, but important for the mind game, dirty game) in front of them fine footballers like Pirlo, Kaka, Seedorf and up front a cold-snout Inzaghi and R9.
    Man United; big Ferdinand, aggressive Vidic, Roy Kean in front of him and passers like Scholes and Giggs in midfield. At the front there are cold-snout, tricky players like Ronaldo, Rooney, Van Nistelrooy.

    Great game from Real.

    It seems like ancelotti predicted the way Tuchel will play, more or less.
    I tought they'll olay on the counter, trying to involve gnabry,sane and musiala as much as possible on the break. Anyways.
    Amazing.
    Now lets go to Wembley and win the 15th ❗❗❗
